I’ve lived in the land of quick fixes, magic beans and 10 minute abs for nearly 20 years. All the quick fix, fast fitness makes for quick results and a speedy regression back to s previous unhealthy state. I can’t count the number of clients that have tried to hire me to get them” beach ready” in 2-6 week, or “wedding” ready in a month. WTF does that really mean anyway??? Ever wonder why the “Biggest Loser” never has a reunion show? It’s cuz very few participants maintain their quick TV show results. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news! But fitness, health and wellness is not a quick fix. Our modern lives are so comfortable (sedentary) that we need to make activity a major priority in our lives. 2015 Health Challenge
Our 2015 Health and Wellness challenge is fast approaching. This challenge is designed to provide guidance for changes in your life that will have long lasting effects on your overall health and well-being. The challenge will officially begin on Monday, February 9, 2015 and go until Monday March 9, 2015. Registration will be SUNDAY FEB 8, 2015 at 12pm at the gym. We will host a meeting to explain all the rules and details of the challenge as well as provide measurements and weigh-ins for those interested. We will also perform a benchmark work out for those who would like to measure their performance as well. At the end of the challenge, we will have another weigh-in, work out and measurement day on SUNDAY MAR 8, 2015 at 12pm.
